These terms govern access to wireswiftnest.life ("Site") operated by Wire Swift Nest Pte. Ltd. ("Wire Swift Nest", "we", "us") and use of Slate Signal editorial content published through the Site. By accessing the Site you agree to these terms. If you disagree, discontinue use.
1. Operator and contact

2. Nature of content
Slate Signal publishes news signals, bulletins, corrections, and desk transparency material for general information in Singapore. Content describes verified or partially verified public-interest lines at time of filing. It is not legal advice, medical advice, financial advice, or personal counselling. Verification states are explicit; partial or gutter-held material should not be treated as final fact without reading updates and corrections.
We describe editorial methods on the Verification and Ground Rules pages. We do not promise completeness, uninterrupted availability, or error-free filing. Independent verification of critical facts remains your responsibility.
3. Acceptable use
You may browse, link to, and quote short excerpts with attribution per Ground Rules. You may not: scrape the Site in bulk without written permission; attempt unauthorised access to servers or editorial systems; introduce malware; impersonate Wire Swift Nest officers; use automated means to circumvent cookie consent; republish full bulletins under your brand without attribution; harass staff through repeated bad-faith contact; or use Site content to construct deceptive impersonation of the desk.
We may suspend access for conduct that threatens security, staff wellbeing, or integrity of the public record, without prior notice where urgency requires.
4. Intellectual property
Site design, Slate Signal branding, editorial text, photographs credited to Wire Swift Nest, and compilation structure are protected by copyright and related rights. Third-party photographs or quotes remain property of their creators and are used under licence or fair dealing as applicable. Trademarks of other organisations appear for identification only.
Limited licence: you may view content personally and cite fairly in research, community notice, and journalism with attribution. No licence grants republication of entire bulletins in commercial compilations without permission, nor use of our marks to imply endorsement.
5. User submissions
Tips and correspondence sent by email, telephone, or walk-in are governed by the privacy notice and Ground Rules. Submission does not create confidentiality unless explicitly agreed in writing for sensitive material handled through [email protected]. You represent that material you provide does not infringe third-party rights and that you have authority to share it.
We owe no duty to publish submissions. Editorial rejection is not defamation of the submitter.
6. Third-party links and embeds
The Site links to external resources and, with functional cookie consent, embeds Google Maps. Third-party terms and privacy policies apply to those services. We do not control external content and are not responsible for its accuracy or availability.
7. Disclaimers
The Site and content are provided "as is" and "as available" to the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement where disclaimable. Published timestamps reflect desk knowledge in Singapore time; synchronisation across devices remains your responsibility.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wire Swift Nest Pte. Ltd., its officers, employees, and contractors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from Site use or reliance on content — including loss of profits, data, or goodwill — even if advised of possibility. Our aggregate liability for direct damages arising from these terms or Site use shall not exceed the greater of (a) what you paid us for access in the preceding twelve months (typically zero for public readers) or (b) a nominal sum permitted where zero caps are unenforceable.
Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where exclusion is unlawful, or for fraud.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Wire Swift Nest against claims arising from your breach of these terms, misuse of content, or infringement arising from material you submit, except to the extent caused by our deliberate misconduct.
10. Corrections and changes
Content may change through corrections policy without amending these terms. We may modify Site structure, suspend pages, or retire URLs; the 404 page applies to retired paths. Material term changes publish here with updated effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance unless law requires explicit re-consent for specific processing described in the privacy notice.
11. Privacy and cookies
Personal data handling is described in the privacy notice. Cookie use is described in the cookie notice. Those documents form part of your contractual understanding where they reference these terms.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction subject to mandatory consumer protections if applicable. We prefer good-faith resolution by email before formal proceedings where practical.
13. Severability and waiver
If any provision is invalid, remaining provisions continue in force. Failure to enforce a provision once is not waiver of future enforcement.
14. Entire agreement
These terms, together with the privacy notice, cookie notice, and Ground Rules incorporated by reference for editorial matters, constitute the entire agreement regarding Site use superseding prior oral understandings on the same subject.
15. Language
English (Singapore) with British spelling is authoritative. Translations, if any are offered later, are convenience only.
16. Assignment
We may assign our rights and obligations under these terms to a successor entity in connection with merger, restructuring, or asset transfer affecting Wire Swift Nest Pte. Ltd., with notice on the Site. You may not assign your rights without our written consent.
17. Force majeure
We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond reasonable control — including natural disasters, widespread network outages, government actions, or public health measures — provided we resume service when practicable and publish desk status signals when extended outage affects publication schedule.
18. Feedback
Suggestions about Site usability sent to [email protected] may be used to improve the Site without compensation or attribution unless separately agreed in writing. Feedback does not create confidentiality unless explicitly marked sensitive and accepted by us.
19. Electronic communications
You consent to receive communications electronically from us at email addresses you provide. Notices we send to your last known email satisfy legal notice requirements where permitted. Maintain accurate contact details when corresponding with the desk.
20. Survival
Provisions that by nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law, and dispute resolution — survive cessation of Site use or account of any kind.
